Who We Are
Shindig Farms is a family-owned, community-centered farm built around creating traditions that bring people together. We host four signature seasonal events – Fall Pumpkin Patch & Straw Maze, our Haunted Straw Maze, Winter Lost in Christmas, and Spring Animal Days. Each one is designed to offer families a place to slow down, explore, and make memories. Everything we do is rooted in connection, local pride, and year-round fun for all ages.

Seasonal Work Details
Fall is where it starts. Our Winter (Lost in Christmas) and Spring (Animal Days) crews are hand-selected from standout fall workers — so a great fall season is your path to year-round work with us.
Our biggest season. We hire 25–30 crew across all stations: ticket booth, activity attendants (slides, jumpads, hayride, mechanical bull), maze monitors, pumpkin patch & wagon helpers, parking/greeters, food & concessions, and lead positions.
Dates: September 12 – October 31 · Monday – Saturday
Public Hours:
September (Mon-Thur): 4-9pm (Friday & Saturday): 10am-9pm
October (Mon-Thur): 4-9pm (Friday-Saturday “HAUNTED NIGHTS”): 10am-11pm
Shifts:
Morning shifts (Mon–Thur): 9AM – 3:30PM (limited hours & days; subject to change)
Morning shifts (Fri-Sat): 9AM – 4PM
Evening shifts (Mon–Sat): 3:30PM – Closing (long hours)
Age: 14+
Pay: $9–$14/hr by age & role with a clear pay raise scale.
Location: Nampa, Idaho

The Treasure Valley’s most committed haunted maze cast — a paid, tiered acting role performing live scares on our biggest fall nights. We hire 20-25 scare actors.
Schedule: 10 nights — 5 Fridays + 5 Saturdays in October, including Halloween. 6PM call → scares 8PM until the last guest goes through
(~11:30PM).
Training: Scare School Aug 29; paid pro photoshoot Sept 6.
Age: 16+ (hard requirement — nights run late) · Experience required.
Costume required — bring your own (preferred) or we’ll help you build one.
Audition required (in person). Returning actors skip the audition.
Pay: A paid, tiered role — you earn more the longer you come back (Recruit → Returner → Veteran). Exact hourly pay is covered at your audition. (YOU WILL BE PAID AT THE END OF THE SEASON)
Bonuses (end of season): $100 perfect attendance (all 10 nights) · $50 costume stipend (your own pro-quality costume)(must have your own every night you work and work all HAUNTED nights) · $25 + a crown for “Best Costume of the Night.”
Perks: 16 free comp tickets (4 per event, all 4 events) · pro character photoshoot · social spotlights · cast wrap party · free farm + family entry during fall · 20% off food. Veterans (yr 3+) join the Veteran Council to help with scare school and scare placement.
